Tasks and responsibilities: As the person ultimately responsible for the quality and food safety system, you will ensure the assurance and further professionalization of this system (including BRC, IFS, FSSC 22000, and HACCP). • Support in managing the QA/QC team, coaching employees, and contributing to their development. • You prepare internal and external audits, supervise these audits, and ensure effective follow-up of audit findings and CAPA processes. • You coordinate certification processes and maintain relationships with certification bodies and external stakeholders. • You analyze quality data (trend analyses, complaints, deviations) and initiate structural improvement actions. • You advise senior management and departmental management on quality, risk, and compliance issues and contribute to the quality strategy. • You develop and optimize processes and procedures and translate laws and regulations into practical safeguards in business operations Job requirements: • At least 5 years of experience in a QA role within the food industry, with demonstrable experience in quality systems, food safety and people management. • Extensive experience with quality standards such as BRC, IFS, FSSC 22000, and HACCP. • Experience with audits, certification processes, and quality management systems. • Strong leadership skills, including team development. • Analytical and results-oriented with an eye for process- and improvement-oriented working. • Practical knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations and compliance issues. • Good command of Dutch and English.
